The First Thousand Years of Greek

The First Thousand Years of Greek project is developing resources for the study of ancient Greek.

Resources

The project is currently creating three resources:

• An inventory of extant texts
• An analytical inventory of linguistic entities in those texts
• An index mapping tokens in texts to linguistic entities

Source code for utilities used in the development of these resources is being made available from sourceforge.

Applications for working with the indexes and databases developed by the project are currently being developed using Google's AppEngine framework.
